Phase I Environmental Site Assessment <br />Riverside Conoco <br />1350 Myers Avenue <br />Batesville, Arkansas <br />Wells <br />During the site reconnaissance, seven (7) monitoring wells were observed on the <br />subject property. One (1) was identified next to each of the three (3) fuel pumps, <br />and four (4) were identified in the tank pit. <br />Heating and Cooling System <br />The building contains central heating and air with natural gas as the heating source. <br />Air conditioning condenser units were observed on the roof. <br />Flooring Drains, Sumps, and Clarifiers <br />Several floor drains were noted inside the convenience store, including the kitchen. <br />Electrical Transformers/Polychlorinated Biphenyls <br />Three (3) pole-mounted transformers were observed on the southeast portion of the <br />property. The transformers are owned by the local electrical utility company. In the <br />event of a spill or release of transformer oil from the transformers, the utility <br />company would be responsible for the cleanup. PMI did not observe any oil on the <br />ground surface beneath the transformers. <br />Storage Tanks <br />During the site reconnaissance, two (2) fill ports and two (2) vent pipes were <br />identified on the center of the subject property. This is consistent with the two (2) <br />underground storage tanks that are registered in the DEQ database. <br />Other <br />A grease receptacle was noted on the east side of the building on the subject <br />property. <br />6.0 ADJOINING PROPERTY RECONNAISSANCE <br />The subject property is located within a commercial area.
