ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE RE-ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OF JIM NAST AND ANDY
MONTGOMERYFROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL TO C-1 COMMERCIAL;DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY AND OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS AS
FOLLOWS:
(1) The following property be and the same is hereby rezoned from R-2 Residential to C-
1 Commercial; said property presently owned by Jim Nast and Andy Montgomery are
the said petitioners for the zoning classification change.
(2) That the property is described as thus:
2549, 2555, 2597, and 2599 Byers Street, legal description of land: Maxfields Third
Eastern Addition, Lots 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 of Block 61.
• (3) It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance being
necessary for the public welfare, it shall be in full force and effect from the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 12'DAY OF FEBRUARY 2002.
