AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE EXTENSION OF FLAGSTONE ROAD, JOVI
DRIVE AND RIVERWOOD DRIVE, ALL LOCATED IN THE RIVERWOOD ESTATES
SUBDIVISION, INTO THE STREET MAINTENANCE PROGRAM, ACCEPTING THE
DEED OF DEDICATION, ADDING THE SAME TO THE MASTER STREET PLAN
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Mr. Brandon Holmes has delivered a Warranty Deed of Dedication
to the City of Batesville for certain lands to be used as City Streets and public right-of-
ways; and
WHEREAS, said right-of-ways would be useful and beneficial to the citizens of
Batesville, Arkansas and others traveling in and through the City; and
WHEREAS, said lands are already used as roadways; now
BE IT THEREFORE ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BATESVILLE,
ARKANSAS:
1. The Warranty Deed of Dedication for phase one of the Riverwood Estates
Subdivision was executed on January 25, 2015 and phase two of the
Riverwood Estates Subdivision was executed on March 2, 2015 are accepted
by the City of Batesville;
2. The lands described in the Deeds of Dedication which are filed for record in
Independence county Record Book DEED 2015, PG 1258, for phase one of
the Riverwood Estates Subdivision and Record Book DEED 2015, PG 1320
for phase two of the Riverwood Estates Subdivision are accepted into the
Street Maintenance Program by the City of Batesville;
3. Pursuant to Batesville Municipal Code § 9-32.01 the streets shall be known
as Flagstone Road Extended, Jovi Drive and Riverwood Drive; and
4. Flagstone Road Extended, Jovi Drive and Riverwood Drive, as described in
the above referenced Deeds of Dedication will be added to the Master Street
Plan in accordance with § 9.44 of the Batesville Municipal code.
THIS ORDINANCE ADOPTED this 12th day of April, 2016. All ordinances or parts of
ordinance in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
