Resolution, which was duly seconded by Aldermen A. C. Burt j
Be It Resolved by the City Council of the City of Batesville, Ark-
ansas, in regular session assembled on June 9, 19590 that said City
submit offer to purchase from the United States Government the Lock &
Dam No. 1 property at Batesville, Arkansas, for the sum of Three Thousand,
Three Hundred Forty-three and 26/100 Dollars ($3,343.26); and Mayor Roy
Row of the City of Batesville be and he is hereby authorized to execute
for and on behalf of said City the "Offer to Purchase Real Estate and
Acceptance", which writing with attachments thereto was transmitted to
the Mayor of said City by letter of June 5, 19590 from Mr. James K•
Winsor, Chief, Disposal Branch Acquisition & Disposal Division, General
Services Administration, Regional Office, Dallas, Texas.
Thereupon the question was put upon the adoption of the Resolution
and the roll was tallied with the following results FOR aldermen

C. L. Thompson C. W. Cobb Ed Laron j
AGAINST, None; ABSENT & NOT VOTING, Aldermen Clarence Johnstop Fred E. Stuart
The Mayor declared said Resolution duly adopted and signed same in approval
thereof,
CERTIFICATE
I, R. W. Sturch, City Clerk of the City of Batesville, Arkansas,
hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and perfect copy of the
Resolution it purports to be and of the Minutes of Council Proceedings
in such connection, all of which appears from the records of said office.

at Batesville, Arkansas, on this the 10 day of June, 959.
