SPECIAL MEETING
JUNE 9, 2009
The Batesville City Council met in special session on June 9, at 5:30 PM at the
Municipal Building. Mayor Rick Elumbaugh presided over the meeting. Upon roll call the
following councilmembers answered present: Tommy Bryant, Margarett Henley, Davy Insell,
Fred Krug, Doug Matthews, Richard O'Neal, and David Shetron. Also present were the City
Clerk and the City Attorney. Councilmember Matt McDonald was absent.
Councilmember Henley moved to approve the prepared agenda. Councilmember
Shetron seconded and all voted for.
NEW BUSINESS
A) CONSIDER A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT GRANT OFFER FOR AIRPORT
IMPROVEMENTS
Councilmember Bryant introduced a resolution authorizing the Mayor and the City
Attorney to sign a grant offer agreement for improvements to the Batesville Regional Airport
under Grant Number 3-05-0004-009-2009. City Clerk Johnston read the resolution in full.
Councilmember Matthews moved to adopt the resolution and Councilmember O'Neal
seconded. The roll call count was 7 for and 0 against. The resolution was given #2009-07-
01-R.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Councilmember Shetron moved that the meeting be
adjourned. Councilmember Henley seconded and all voted for.
